The short version
Career Designer uses only the cookies and browser storage it needs to work: keeping you signed in, and processing payments securely. There are no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, and no tracking across other sites. Because everything we set is strictly necessary, no consent banner is shown.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. We also use local storage, a similar browser feature. Both are covered by this policy.
What we set
Signing in. Our authentication provider, Supabase, stores a session token in your browser so you stay signed in between visits. It identifies your session, nothing more, and expires when the session does.
Payments. When you visit a checkout or billing page, Stripe sets cookies used for secure payment processing and fraud prevention. These appear only on payment pages. Stripe's own cookie policy is at stripe.com/cookies.
Preferences. If the product offers settings such as light or dark mode, your choice is stored locally on your device and sent nowhere.

What we do not set
No advertising cookies. No third-party analytics. No social media pixels. No cross-site tracking of any kind.
Controlling cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the cookies above will prevent signing in and paying, because they are what those functions run on.
Changes
If we ever introduce cookies that are not strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent before setting them and update this policy first.
